When my daughter was little we would read together. First we read golden books, quickly followed by the Little House on the Prairie series. I am sure that this habit of reading together is what made her the avid reader and adventurer she is today. I always think of my daughter while making these special pocket pillows.

This beautiful pillow is made from prewashed no pill fleece. Both sides are soft blue for the boy and the little girl has purple with yellow vintage chenille. The front black pocket is trimmed with satin blanket binding. Just below the pocket in the front is a zipper so that you can easily take your pillow from out to launder the cover. The top of the pillow has a fabric handle just perfect for carrying around. This very special pocket pillow will make a memorable gift for some little reader.

The pillows front pocket is 10" by 16" and has a little boy or girl with a dragon embroidered with glow in the dark thread on the pocket. As seen in the picture, this pocket is large enough to hold a good sized hardback book.

The overall size of the pillow is 16" square. This listing is for the pillow cover only. It will comfortably fit a 16" pillow form. There is a zipper just below the pocket on the front so that you can easily insert your pillow form.
