This easy fitting women's tee shirt tunic dress is made from a burgundy tee with bling and a soft cotton patchwork blouse. The top is burgundy with metal gems and an asymmetric swath of navy cotton tee. The sleeves and skirted bottom are cotton patchwork pieces in shades of burgundy, pink, and gold . The inspiration started with the top piece. I wanted to keep the beauty of this bling, but upcycled it to a more comfortable fitting piece. I eased the sides and middle with the navy tee and extended the hemline using the patchwork cotton blouse. There are also two pockets at the sides made from selected pieces of the cotton patchwork.
The dress is a comfortable fitting women's L-XL that flares gently from the high waist to knee length. I think the technique used make this a very slimming fit. See measurements below.
As always, I fell in love with the material of these shirts and saw the hidden potential.
