This easy fitting short kimono sleeve shrug jacket is a must have for your wardrobe. It was made using a collage of beautiful pieces of vintage chenille. The squares of chenille are a mixture of cream amid green and dark green thick and soft chenille. These pieces were laid out and stitched on a complimentary colored flowered cotton vintage sheet, giv8ng the jacket a quilted effect. The chenille had served its useful life as bed spreads and was fussy cut to make this one of a kind jacket. The jacket is soft and warm and is easy fitting.
This French fold pattern is considered zero waste. And the crop jacket style is very size forgiving. It will fit Medium up to a 2 X easily. With its no closure side wrap front it can be styled many ways. Notice the side panels can be wrapped several ways to give the cotton lining or quilted chenille the spotlight. There are even two pockets trimmed with the flowered cotton.
