This Tudor style women's full apron was designed using the Tudor Style Apron pattern found at Sew4Home. The description is ..."Our two-part skirt is based on the Tudor fashion trend called "slashing." Both men's and women's clothing often featured long cuts in the outer surfaces, such as on doublets, sleeves and gowns, which allowed the contrasting colors of the linings beneath to be exposed." This apron features four complimentary fabric patterns. the featured pattern is a vintage hot pink flowered tablecloth Used fir the overskirt and a rose and green striped fabric for the underskirt and for the bodice. The bodice is framed with a pink and white dot cotton ruffle.

The ties and contrasting side bodice are a hot pink striped cotton.

Look closely at the skirt and you will see the large pockets that are the same pink dot as the ruffled bodice and trimmed with green piping trim. These pockets as well as the bodice are trimmed with this green piping.

This is a very different apron with its empire waist, ruffled and lined bodice, and two layered skirt. It is slightly longer than most aprons and the fit is forgiving as well as stylish.

I loved this pattern when I saw it and look forward to making many more of this style with an exciting mix of fabric patterns and colors.
