This one of a kind denim duster coat was made from multiple upcycled pieces. The mid weight dark blue denim shirt was the base piece, but a graphic tee with Paris and butterflies along with my steampunk dragon were the inspiration. Another soft Lacey tee piece in blues and cream was used for the second side and vintage cotton eyelet lace In a creamy ecru color makes the ruffled hem and sleeve trim. Look close and you will see a cotton button placket salvaged from a shirt that sits on the front bottom to allow you to button the piece all the way to the hem.

I love how all of these pieces blend together in their complimentary colors. The piece is even Made more special With the gray and gold steampunk dragon machine embroidered on the back. Notice that there are also two front breast pockets with button closed flaps.
