When my daughter was little we would read together. First we read golden books, quickly followed by the Little House on the Prairie series. I am sure that this habit of reading together is what made her the avid reader and adventurer she is today. I always think of my daughter while making these special pocket pillows.
This beautiful pillow is made from pre washed quilt quality cotton and bright minky dot fabrics. The pocket is black pre quilted cotton and embroidered with a glow in the dark dragon and a reading is the magic key quote. The embroidered dragon has a lime green background that matches the stack of books. The embroidery thread used is glow in the dark. It only takes a few hours of ambient light to “charge” the image and it will glow softly after the lights go out. The top of the pocket is trimmed in a green satin blanket binding. The front fabric is high quality cotton in dark blue with planets and stars in multiple primary colors. The back of the pillow is soft minky dot in a blue green aqua. The bottom of the pillow has a hidden zipper closure so that you can easily take your pillow form out to launder the cover. The top of the pillow has a fabric handle. This is just perfect for carrying the pillow around. This very special pocket pillow will make a memorable gift for some little reader.
The pillows front pocket is 10" by 16" and is large pocket and can hold a good sized book.

My shop is located in Harris County Texas, so if you live in Texas expect to pay sales tax on your purchase.
